Ishik Medical and Education Foundation believes that involving students in debating competitions increases their self confidence and enhance their public speaking skills. It also integrates our students with being a part of the solution to the problems thatbour society and the globe at large is facing. Apart from creating awareness to current issues and social problems, debating also enables the students to be innovative and eager to find suitable and valid solutions. In the verge to promote the above good virtues of debating,

ISHIK Foundation in collaboration with Tanzanian Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MOEVT) has taken an important step to organize Africa Open Schools Debate Competition annually. Our aim is both to involve as many as local public schools possible but also to have an international touch in it. International debating professionals will be invited and the event aims at benefiting both the locals and the international participants.
